Access Success Lecture Series

On Wednesday, November 4th from 1-2 p.m. in room C118 Parkland will begin the first of a series of lectures that will expose our students and staff to movers and shakers here in our own community.  The mystery speaker shown in the posters around campus is Rick Stevens, CEO of Horizon Hobby. Rick will pass along what he has learned in building a company from nothing to a successful enterprise that employs nearly 700 people and sells products in more than 50 countries around the world. Horizon Hobby offers a wide variety of job opportunities that many students might be interested in pursuing (and it is right here in Champaign!). This is a rare opportunity for students/faculty to have access to CEO of a large company.  Bring your questions and learn! If you attend the lecture you will be eligible to win a radio controlled truck or a radio controlled helicopter donated to Parkland from Horizon Hobby.
